Getting in touch
Email support@hurricaneharrison.com. One person reads it, so give it a day or two.
If you are reporting a problem, the things that help most are: your device, your iOS version, which world you were in, and what you were doing when it went wrong.
Common questions
Where can I get it?
On the App Store, for iPhone and iPad, for $1.99. One purchase covers both. There are no in-app purchases, no ads and no account to create.
How long is a run?
Five minutes. Survive the timer and a boss arrives; beat it and the world is cleared for good, which unlocks the next one on the map.
How do I control Harrison?
You only move him. Weapons aim and fire on their own at whatever is nearest, so the whole game is positioning. On a phone that is an on-screen stick. A keyboard or a gamepad works as well, and the prompts on screen switch to match whichever you pick up. The two moves you trigger yourself — the Hurricane, and Quick Step once you have it — sit on their own buttons beside the stick.
What carries over between runs?
Cleared worlds stay cleared, and your top ten scores are kept on the device. Levels, gold and weapons are per-run and start over every time. Two rewards are permanent: Quickstep, buried in the Ruins, and the Whip, from the temple in the Jungle.
I cleared the City but the game says "unfinished business".
The Ruins are an optional branch off the hometown. Beating the City finishes the campaign whether or not you have done them — that message is the game pointing out the one you skipped.
Is there anything to buy inside the game?
The shop that appears during a run is spent with gold you picked up in that same run. It is not real money, and there is nothing to purchase.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. The game is single player and runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.
Privacy and data
The game has no accounts and no way to enter personal information; your progress is saved locally on your device. The full details are on the privacy page.
